BIOGRAPHY
Wyclef Jean is a three-time Grammy Award-winning Haitian-American rapper, singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, actor and politician.

He first rose to fame as a member of the acclaimed Fugees, the trio that also included Lauryn Hill and Pras. The group's debut album, Blunted on Reality sold over 2 million copies worldwide. Their sophomore album – The Score – sold over 18 million copies worldwide, eventually becoming a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning album.

Wyclef or 'Clef as he is more affectionately known went solo in the late 90's and released a series of eclectic albums that were both critical and commercial successes. His debut solo album Wyclef Jean Presents The Carnival (1997) featured the top ten hit "Gone Til November".

Wyclef has collaborated with many of the top names of music history including: "911" featuring Mary J. Blige and "Dollar Bill" with Akon and Lil Wayne. "Hip Dont Lie " with Shakira is the highest selling single of the 21st century, in addition to reaching number one in over 55 countries. Jean and Shakira went on to perform the song at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards and the 2007 Grammy Awards.

Other collaborators include; Santana (Maria Maria) and Whitney Houston (Your Love is my Love), Kenny Rogers, Michael Jackson, Young Thug, Bob Dylan and Avicii.
