BIOGRAPHY Steel Pulse is one of the most well known reggae groups worldwide. Their prolific catalog includes the reggae classics "Steppin Out", "Chant a Psalm" and "Rally Round".
Among their many accolades is the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 1987 ("Babylon by Bandit"). They were also the first reggae band to appear on the Tonight Show and for a US Presidential inauguraltion (President Clinton 1993). Steel Pulse has been called "the best live reggae band on the planet" by Vibe Magazine. |
