SKATALITES

The Skatalites is the band from Jamaica widely considered as the "creators" of the ska genre the predecessor of reggae.

The Jazz background of the musicians can be heard on tracks such as "The Man in the Street" and"Guns of Navarone".

The popularity of the Skatalites has taken them to every continent and they have also been featured on many of the most renowned festivals worldwide including Glastonbury (UK), the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival.
