BIOGRAPHY Arturo Tappin's dynamic and spirited performances have won him fans the world over and earned him the title of the "Saxiest Man in the Caribbean". Formally trained at Berklee, Tappin has recorded and toured with an A-list of musicians and vocalists including "Live w Luther Vandross", Roberta Flack and Monty Alexander.
Tappin's international performances include the Edinburgh Festival, the St. Lucia Jazz Festival and special appearances for President Clinton and Fidel Castro. Arturo Tappin leads his quintet with the saxophone and flute; other featured musicians include Terry "Mexican" Arthur on the steel pan an accomplished musician in his own right. |
